The goal for a complete developer's kit includes:
Additionally, I've begun to design an interactive Toolset that can be used to generate config files, code, and file sets based on some inputs. For example, one tool will read a data table schema and generate a beginning tableModel_ config file. Another tool would read a completed tableModel_ file and generate the model custom type code. Back in 2001 I created a tool that generated an entire default site worth of folders, stub files, and content files for a 1st generation Corral Method type of site. Likewise I have a schema reading tool which extracts data table information. Combining what has been in these areas with something similar to my WorkBench, it would be possible to build a studio type of application that would save time writing many common files. I've also started to play with using Python to build command-line based tools as well.
